No More Coca Cola in Costco

CBS News reported that Costco will no longer carry Coca Cola. This is really surprising news.

Here is what's on Costco's website after a quick search for Coke products:

Costco is committed to carrying name brand merchandise at the best possible prices. At this time, Coca-Cola has not provided Costco with competitive pricing so that we may pass along the value our members deserve.

Costco has decided not to order additional inventory on the following Coca-Cola products, until the matter is resolved. The following items will be available only while supplies last. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is really shocking news. What is the reason? Price dispute. Is it possible that Costco and Coca-Cola can change their stance and reach a better win-win agreement? The customers of Costco surely are not ready for this all though they can get Coke elsewhere.
